About Boot Camp
Powerfully impact your New Year and be the change you want to see in 2010!
This blog is about how you can make a difference in your life, and make it stick! It’s about working from the inside, out.
All the changes and choices we make in our lives start as thoughts, and there is a lot that can affect what sort of thoughts you have, and the results they lead to. If we want to make lasting, successful changes, and form lifelong good habits, we begin with what’s going on in our heads.
Combine that with good, clear guidelines, goals and strategies and the blueprint for long term success is so much easier to draw up.
I’m so happy to have you on the Boot Camp Blog, and I really hope you can take away some useful ideas and inspirations for your own life journey.
How does the Boot Camp Blog work?
• There will be three blog posts put up every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Each post will offer you a combination of tools, tips, actions and inspirations to help you along your chosen path.
• The Weight Loss & Wellbeing Boot Camp will last 8 weeks.
• Downloads will be available to help you chart your journey, give you information, check your progress, assist your momentum, and support your motivation.
• Links will be provided to some amazing and inspiring ideas, science and philosophies – authors and materials, giving you further access to the tools and messages that you find the most supportive.
Who is behind the Boot Camp Blog?
The Boot Camp Blog is the brainchild of Dawn Rising, the owner and Managing Director of Nutri-Health UK. Dawn is a passionate advocate of the possibility of great health and wellbeing for everybody. As Dawn explains: “This Weight Loss & Wellbeing Boot Camp Blog is designed with you in mind, it includes highly effective ideas, science and tools that have been used and proven many times over by individuals – and businesses – and all with enormously positive outcomes…
“I struggled for many years with my own weight and health issues. I remember feeling just terrible – deeply unwell, but with nothing obvious to indicate that – there were no spots, no temperature, and no physical signs. I just felt bloated, overweight and thoroughly unhappy with myself.”
“So how did I turn myself around? I went through a massive learning curve, realising that it’s really hard to effectively diet to lose weight, feel better or enjoy life without also doing some self-development work…”
“I was open to trying out new ideas and philosophies; I was willing to recognise old bad habits that no longer served me and then to swap them for new ones that did – I took action, I changed some stuff!”
Dawn knows that it’s not an easy journey on your own, so this programme is deliberately being delivered as a Blog in order to give you access to other participants on their journey. You can interact by commenting on the content of each day, reading and replying to other participants’ comments and thus find support, friends, like-mindedness, and the power of the group – a community.
